  • New York DJ Anthony Parasole's The Corner label returns to action next month with records from Phil Moffa and Dar Embarks. While Parasole has kept busy touring, holding down a residency at Berghain in Berlin and producing his debut album Infrared Vision, we haven't heard anything from The Corner since Dietrich Schoenemann's 9 Clicks 12-inch back in early 2016. Nearly a year and a half later, the label has revealed its 15th and 16th releases, with Parasole describing both as "pure techno bliss." Moffa, pictured—a key label affiliate, Parasole collaborator and well-regarded studio guru also from New York—offers Frequency Of Noise, which includes Moffa's previously digital-only 2015 remix of Vancouver duo Humans' "Follow." The other EP is Dar Embarks' Busted EP. A Chicago-based collaboration between Dan Jugel (whose Juzer project with Beau Wanzer led to a 2014 release on The Corner, Horseplay) and Kenneth Zawacki (also known alongside Justin Long as Circling Vultures), they'll be appearing on The Corner for the first time.
