Björk has revealed the name of her new album, Utopia, which is due out in November.
She made the announcement during a live broadcast interview with Nowness yesterday, Pitchfork reports. The news followed the surprise release of her first album single, "The Gate."
"'The Gate' is essentially a love song," she says of the track, "but I say 'love' in a more transcendent way. Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that's even greater." The album, which has production credits from Arca and Rabit, is due out in November via One Little Indian.
