- It's out on Clone West Coast Series in late October.
A new Legowelt album is on the way via Clone Records' West Coast Series offshoot.
Eclectic Dutch producer Danny Wolfers put together 12 tracks for the LP, and press notes describe the album's wide-ranging palette using terms like "late-night hermit house" and "cosmic spaceweed trance." We're told to expect "colorful stories embodying societal malaise and its dwellers—yet with a dash of aspiration." With sleeve artwork hand-drawn by Wolfers himself, the album will see release on double-vinyl and digital formats on October 30th, just in time for Halloween.
It's been a while since Legowelt last appeared on Clone—Legendary Freaks In The Trash Of Time comes almost five years after the last Legowelt LP for the label, Paranormal Soul—but Wolfers has been prolific as usual otherwise. His 2017 output has included albums credited to his given name (Unfolding The Future With Amateur Space Jazz) and to his alias Smackos (A Vampire Goes West), both of which were released on his own label, Nightwind Records.
