  • SPIN has revealed four accounts of sexual harassment by Los Angeles festival promoter Sean Carlson. The accounts come from an artist manager, a publicist, a photographer and a fourth anonymous woman who works in mental health care. All four women detailed unwanted and sometimes forceful advances, indecent exposure, coercion and unwanted touching from Carlson, who is best known as the founder of LA's FYF Fest. "I get this like nauseous feeling, a panicked feeling if I see [an FYF billboard] and I'm driving," one woman said. American festival promoter Goldenvoice, which runs Coachella and other festivals, cut ties with Carlson without explanation earlier this week. In a statement to SPIN, Carlson admitted that some of the allegations were true, and said his behaviour was "inexcusable." "I am genuinely, unequivocally sorry," he said. "I lay fault at no one's feet but my own. I am ashamed by how I acted and feel terrible for the pain that I have caused. Actions speak louder than words." Read the full article and allegations here.
