Mysteries Of The Deep is starting a label.
The first record comes from Certain Creatures, a Brooklyn producer who has previously appeared on Styles Upon Styles. Nasadiya Sukta has its origins in Mysteries Of The Deep's 2015 Halloween party, when Certain Creatures performed a set meant to bridge the gap between the event's ambient beginnings and its more upbeat, late-night programming. The label says the LP hearkens "back to ambient classics from the '90s," and that its six tracks "cohere into a single extraterrestrial mass."
Mysteries Of The Deep started out as an ambient podcast series in 2011, before becoming a New York-based event series in the years following.
