  • Music gear marketplace Reverb has launched a site for buying and selling vinyl called Reverb LP. Originally started in 2013, Reverb connects users looking to buy and sell old music equipment, from guitars and pedals to vintage synthesizers. Now, it's also opened in beta mode as a vinyl market. According to an article in The Vinyl Factory, Reverb says the software is comparable to that of popular dating website Match.com, "ensuring that the right buyers and sellers find each other." Reverb LP will take 6% on every item sold. (Discogs takes 8%.) "We believe the current offerings are still in the older generation of marketplace technology and approach," Reverb's COO Dan Melnick told the Chicago Tribune in August. "We feel like there's a clear need for a more modern player." As well as extensive stocks of rock, pop and jazz, there's a healthy electronic music section. Have a browse of Reverb LP. It's free to sign up.
