  • One of the most prolific pieces of dance music and one which has made such a wide impact is Underworld's aggressive beauty, Born Slippy. With Karl Hyde's edgy, geezer-like lyrics, to the amazing production from Rick Smith, the track has gone a very long way and is still going over a decade later. Due to overwhelming demand and to coincide with their new release of a double CD called 'Anthology 1992-2002', 'Born Slippy' has gone under The Knife for a 2003 remix extravaganza. First off, Rick Smith has gone back to his roots to supply a huge house tune with re-recorded vocals and a serious piano lead intro and melody. Long time fan, Paul Oakenfold, gets impatient with a peaktime trance number which is very solid to say the least. London Elekticity come from the leftfield with an aggressive drum & bass remix while Atomic Hooligan perfect the mix of vocal and melody together in their breaks rendition. Rick has also supplied an ambient mix for the softy at heart. The expected release date is October 27 so keep your eyes out at your local record store for this classic.
