- The 14-track release was recorded in the late '90s.
An album by µ-Ziq is coming out on Planet Mu in April.
Challenge Me Foolish, which is described as a "lost album," was recorded by Mike Paradinas around the release of Royal Astronomy, his 1999 LP for Virgin sub-label Hut Recordings. The 14-track record heavily features Japanese vocalist Kazumi, who appears on five tunes. While his IDM contemporaries were exploring aggressive textures in the late '90s, Paradinas was experimenting with gentler, melodic materials on Challenge Me Foolish. It'll be available on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats from April 13th.
Planet Mu had a strong outing in 2017, releasing LPs from the likes of Ziúr, Jlin, Claude Speed and Antwood.
