  • Acud Macht Neu has started Amplify Berlin, a residency program for emerging artists in the German capital. Each one-month residency centres on a mentorship. The likes of Laurel Halo, Caterina Barbieri, Ziúr, Robert Lippok and Lucrecia Dalt have been confirmed as mentors, who will provide successful applicants with feedback and work with them in private studio sessions. Artists will also be able to develop their live set in Acud's event space, where they'll perform to the public at the end of the residency. Applications are open from April 17th to May 17th, with the programme officially launching in September. Twenty Berlin-based artists will be accepted per year. The initiative is co-funded by Europäischer Fonds für regionale Entwicklung and Musicboard Berlin. You can apply on the Amplify Berlin website.
