  • Melody As Truth will release a compilation of label works and unreleased tracks called Framed Space: Selected Works 2014-2017. The two-CD compilation looks over the label's first three years, focusing on the imprint's two initial contributors, Jonny Nash and Suzanne Kraft. It will be released in Japan in July with a wider release to follow. The first disc focuses on the label's founder, Nash, collecting tracks from his three solo releases for the label, Phantom Actors, Exit Strategies and Eden. It also includes an unreleased Gigi Masin collaboration, "Treasure," recorded in 2014, and an unheard cut called Sayan recorded during the Eden sessions in Bali. The second disc focuses on Suzanne Kraft, AKA Diego Herrera, primarily comprising material from his two Melody As Truth albums, Talk From Home and What You Get For Being Young. Two unreleased tracks sweeten the deal: "Meetings," recorded shortly after the LA native's relocation to Amsterdam, and "Seven Day Turnaround," recorded in 2015. "Both Nash and Herrera now live in Amsterdam," the label notes read, "where they continue to exchange ideas and experiment on new works for MAT. The music on Framed Space is intended to give the listener an insight into the first chapter of an ongoing story."
