Global Underground has announced some thrilling news. Sasha, one of the worlds greatest DJ phenomena’s has signed up for his own exclusive series with a difference. His series will be released as single CD collection with volume 1 appearing around April 2004. He will be compiling three volumes, possibly five in a new as yet untitled GU series. Speaking about the project Sasha revealed: "After doing DJ mixes for the past 12 years, the thought of doing another one was not thrilling. It's an exciting new concept and I see it as a definitive progression-an evolution- in my career”
Taking these factors into account GU have developed in conjunction with Sasha, a new take on the standard mix CD.
Each CD will be part-Dj mix, part-remix and part-artist album. GU and Sasha will be attempting to further blur the boundaries between an artist and a DJ, whilst the series will feature exclusive material not available on any other compilations and remixes designed with the series in mind.
