Tao Recordings is the little baby of well known Canadian producer/DJ Martin Villeneuve or otherwise know as Envy or sometimes MV. Martin has seen worldwide acclaim with releases on Deep Dish's Yoshitoshi and Shinichi labels as well as tracks on Addictive and SAW while being included on some great mix compilations by Deep Dish, Anthony Papp and John Creamer and Stephane K.
Tao's first release was a set of MV remixes of BlueTonicWorld's 'A Wonderous Night'. Originally, BlueTonicWorld productions had been garnering alot of fans on mp3.com, topping the ambient chart on more than one account and has made many people sit up and take notice. MV's remixes has seen large DJ support from the likes of Saeed & Palash, Chris Fortier, Behourz, Spesh, Chab and many more.
For a limited time, the original unreleased mix of 'A Wonderous World' is available for download from the Tao website. Next up on the release list for Tao will be Soultan and Tonedepth featuring Heroic with 'Back To You' (Original and MV mixes) and Mark Martini featuring Hollow Promise with 'Highway One' (Original and Chris Micali mixes).
