Breakbeat fans can get a dose of beats UK style on Saturday 6 December when Revolver Upstairs and DJ Ransom Late Show present "Heavyweight Breaks" with Skool of Thought (UK), and special guests Phil K and DJ Ides.
Skool Of Thought has made something of a name for himself on the breakbeat scene first as DJ and promoter and more recently as the man behind the labels Supercharged and Against The Grain, home to artists such as the Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Deep Impact and Disco Assassins. He was also the man who brought you 'that Groove Armada Superstylin' bootleg (it's stuck in your head now isn't it?). IDJ magazine has call him 'an underrated genius' and he's regarded as helping form the 'nu skool breaks' scene. Make your mind up for yourself when Skool's in on December 6!
