Due out on Ragbull Records around January or February 2004 is the first in a new series of compilations that will feature world class DJs and artists, showcasing their favorite club tracks with the added flavour of live instrumentation and vocals. Ragbull was founded by Jools Butterfield (ex Nuphonic) and the Groove Armada boys, Tom and Andy.
The new series called 'Doin It After Dark' will be kicking off with a selection of tracks hand-picked by Groove Armada and Jools Butterfield, taken from the last few years. Some of the tracks included are unreleased while others are classics that are getting better with age. Expect to find tracks and mixes by Chicken Lips, Iz and Diz, Pyromaniac Gardners, Tiefschwartz, Blackstrobe and Ragbull producer Igloo. Percussion by Patrick Dawes (Tummy Touch) and vocals by Madd Mc are added to the mixture of grooves for extra listening pleasure and a fresh change.
As the release date is not final, keep an ear out for the date and for those who like to collect LPs on vinyl, the baby will be available with a double vinyl pack.
