Sunday Session is a relatively new weekend event in Melbourne that aims to serve up a long cool cross genre cocktail of prog-psy, beats, breaks, house and electro to soothe your soul on a Sunday afternoon and evening.
The residents are DJs Aaron Smiles and Heath Myers and over the next two week there'll be some guest DJs dropping in for a set. This Sunday 21 December, Scott Feigan from Relax joins the pre-Christmas festivities. DJ/Producer Tristan Boyle drops in to play some fresh new tracks and bedroom DJ Matt Shaw makes his debut.
Next weekend on Sunday 28 December, two of Melbourne's best get a crack at Sunday Session with Ferris (Sunny, Sunday Skool) and Gavin Martin (Namaste, Private Function) playing alongside the residents. Sunday Sessions kicks off from 3pm until 11pm each Sunday at the Stonebar, Lt Collins St, and entry is free.
