Renaissance has announced an exclusive series of dates with Sander Kleinenberg at their monthly London residency at The Cross in 2004. Starting on February 28th (and continuing quarterly thereafter, totaling 3 appearances over the year), ‘Renaissance meets Everybody’ will be the natural continuation to the critically acclaimed compilation of the same name, which Sander recently released via Renaissance Recordings. For those who have not been fortunate to get over to Holland or Ibiza during 2003, ‘Everybody’ is Sander’s own brand, which in his own words, “…is all about having fun and getting away from all the serious stuff that’s been going on. ”
Renaissance MD Geoff Oakes has explained his reasons for the Sander exclusive set of dates “Sander took the ‘Everybody’ comp in a totally different direction for us visually, but I think we both shared common ground about the current perception of dance music in general. ‘Renaissance meets Everybody’ will be a welcome chance to showcase Sander’s unique sound and approach and open up a few doubting ears in the process.” Renaissance will be handing the main room to at The Cross over to him for a whole 5 hours. Admission £15 and Sander K will be joined by Australian breaks genius Phil K, The Blue Room (Radio 1) with Chris Coco and Rob Da Bank, Kid Circus. 1 Comment
