The second Brazilian RioParade has been announced for Sunday May 30 and once again looks to be one of the worlds biggest electronic music parade parties, with over 500,000 people expected to watch from the roadside. The route will be the same as last year, but prolonged for approximately 1 km as Adrian Halter, president of RioParade revealed the change was necessary as crowd numbers are expected to be even greater this year. There will be two stages, one in Cinelândia and a new one in front of the old arch bridge in Lapa.
Much like other parades, there will be Floats, hosted by some of the biggest brands in the world of dance music. 30 floats are expected to traverse the route, whilst over 150 DJ’s from 15 countries will be laying down the grooves for those lining the streets and at the two main stages.
As the second ‘RioParade’ fast approaches with its thirty ‘Lovemobiles’ and one hundred and fifty international DJ’s; company president Adrian Halter talks to us about anticipating half a million party people to his Brazilian parade on May 30th.
