There are always people wondering where to go for new hip hop sounds in Melbourne, with so many hip hop DJs quietly tucked away in bars or clubs around this town. There's a new night starting in Melbourne though, so we figured we'd shout about it! The Jump Off will commence on April 15 at Ding Dong Lounge, presenting hip hop each Thursday night.
Present for the launch party will be special guests New Zealand's platinum selling DJ Sirvere with MC Mizere and Mareko from South Auckland crew Deceptikonz. The people behind The Jump Off are aiming to create a party night with sounds also spaning across reggae and funk. The resident DJs will be Devest8, Dean K and Peril of 1200 Techniques and Planet of the Breaks.
Ding Dong Lounge is located at Market Lane in the Melbourne CBD.
