Beats and Peaces ahave announced an exclusive Sydney show for Adelaide's celebrated hip-hop act The Hilltop Hoods. There is no doubt that the Hilltop Hoods are leading the charge to take good Australian music, not just hip hop, to the international arena. Their unique combination of funky beats with the experimental ethos of jazz, topped off with solid lyrics, tight flows and a localised viewpoint is what places Hilltop Hoods at the pinnacle of Australia's fresh talent stakes.
After playing to capacity crowds of thousands at festivals and venues around Australia and gaining strong support from overseas, this is a unique chance to catch the forerunners of the Australian hip-hop scene up close and personal in the 'nosebleed section' in one of Sydney's newest live music venues "MARQUEE" situated on Parramatta Rd, Camperdown on the upcoming Anzac Day Long Weekend in their only Sydney appearance.
