House music is a way of life and that's what Steve Lawler's Harlem Nights has presented every month for a couple years now. Looking to extend and grow, Harlem will be taking on a new resident DJ to warm up for Steve each month. The twist is that the position is up for grabs in a competition to anyone who can string together some beats into a set. The comp is being run by Radio 1 and DJ Magazine so check them out for details on how to enter.
In other news, this months party on April 30 is an exciting one with Andy from Portishead joining up with friends for 'Feel Good' in the Lounge plus Steve in the main room all night long. It has been announced that Sundays at Space in Ibiza will be Steve's home again this summer as he racks up 8 years on the terrace. On the production side, Steve's 'Lost' track has finally been given a release date after being lost (pun intended) for a while. Look out for it from Subversive Records on May 10.
