  • Whether you love or hate him, it is undeniable that DJ Tiesto has for over the last year been the most unstoppable and unrelenting artist in the electronic music scene. And things don’t look to be slowing down. His new album 'Just Be' on Blackhole Recordings is his first artist album since 'In My Memory' from 2001. Just Be sees Tiesto take on a slightly more progressive angle with his epic trance sound. The first single, 'Love Comes Again' featuring US producer and DJ BT (Brian Transeau), is just a taste of new productions to come. Tiesto is currently heading up the Heineken Thirst and will be hitting much of Australia later next week to judge (and DJ) the competition to find Australia's most promising next generation DJ after recently departing from the Asia leg. Pete Tong, who runs his now legendary Essential Mix show on BBC's Radio 1 and is arguably the worlds leading radio DJ will be joining him, on this whirlwind of a competition/tour combo event. The tour details presented by Future Entertainment are as follows;
    Heineken Thirst Australian Tour Melbourne - Room 680 - AU Final - Friday April 30 Sydney - Home - Saturday May 1 Brisbane - Family - Sunday May 2
    Tiesto and Tong have been touring the world judging fresh talent in countries around the world in hope to find someone fresh talent. The winners in each country play alongside to two superstar DJs and also win a pile of cash (bonus!). You can find (if you try hard enough) more information on the Heineken Music website below - you can also checkout this little Real Player clip of Tiesto as he comments on Australia.
