Deeper Substance (DS), the crew that brings you “deliciously devastating house music” (as described by DJ Magazine), turns 3 this May. To celebrate they are throwing a special birthday bash with Sander Kleinenberg on 21 May at their usualy London hang, the Rhythm Factory.
As a club night Deeper Substance has developed a passionate, up for it and good looking following, having played gigs in New York, Bali, Toronto, Hong Kong, Zurich, Miami, Sydney and L.A. Their recent gig at Bedrock in London rocked the sound shell as if it was a house party with a full room getting down to their infectious style of house.
With a carefully cropped haircut, dreamboat looks and a softly spoken yet confident demeanour, Sander has gained a large following both on and off the decks. Last year alone the Dutchman knocked up over 250,000 air miles as well as releasing the popular Renaissance Everybody CD. Don’t miss this rare London appearance.
Playing alongside Sander will be rising star and founder Demi and residents Alex Sansford and Dennis. Rocking the casbah in Room 2 will be Jimmy Nelson, Vincent and J Cat. So “Come strut to the funk!"
