With the long weekend looming up the topic of conversation is which event on which night will you be heading out too? Friday night kicks off one of the largest Sydney weekends in style with 3 nights in competition – you have a choice of boutique favorite Clean and Serene, X-Press 2 at Space and Tyler Stadius at Glitch... Where will you be?
Cream presents X-Press 2: "X-Press 2 is dancefloor. Big anthems. Bollocking house." Rocky, X-Press 2, Space has a massive line-up planned with – X-Press 2, IIlya, The Jackal & Homegrown in the mainroom. Whilst Blowpop presents Ajax, Klaus 'Heavyweight' Hill, Adam West, DJ Naked and Escher in room2. PLUS! Due to last minute loss of venue, Mark Myers and his crew will be taking control of the decks to finish off the night which means a late night mash up with: Mark Myers, Bob Frisky, Tom Da Silva, Johnny Sonic, Dave Good & Ricardo Da Funk. Tickets are on sales at $45 and the night runs from 10pm – 6am.

Clean and Serene featuring Craig Obey at the Burdakin offers a solid local line-up of : Tazman, Jackster, Craig Obey & Mike McGrath. Known as Sydney ’s Sexy House ‘scratch master’, Craig Obey is becoming equally recognised for his music production, DJ’ing and involvement in the Australian dance-music scene. With 15 years experience he has a national and international profile, put him alongside the Clean and Serene boys for a night of “Funky, Chunky, Sexy” house at the burdakin and at only $5 members and $10 the rest.

Glitch at Club 77 offers you Tyler Stadius (Fabric UK), Phil Smart, Sugar Ray, Dave Choe & Matt Aubusson. A 3 hour set from Tyler, resident of the infamous underground club Fabric (UK), giving you the royal treatment will be glitch regulars Phil Smart and Sugar Ray, while Dave Choe and Matt Aubusson do it back to back till the early hours of the morning. Expect twisted tech grooves, dirty broken beats, electrolized house and everything in between. $15 ticket price.
