With excitement at an all time high, Friction have released their set times for what can only be described as one of the most anticipated nights on the Australian progressive agenda. Friday, 11th June 2004 sees the return of the multi talented and much loved James Zabiela to Canberra’s Lot 33. After devastating a capacity crowd at this venue last year, James is once again set to play a blinding 4 hour set at one of Australia’s best clubs. Supporting him on the night will be Canberra’s dynamic duo Two Square (Jeff Drake & Mikah Freeman) as well as one of progressive’s rising stars, Jono Fernandez.
Friction feat JZ Set Times.
09.30pm – 12.30am Two Square (Jeff Drake & Mikah Freeman)
12.30am – 04.30am James Zabiela
04.30am – Close Jono Fernandez
Doors will be opening at precisely 9.30pm and ticket holders are urged to arrive as early as possible so as not to miss out on any of the action while also receiving their 3 FREE glasses of champagne (upon arrival before 11pm). Tickets have almost sold out however there is still a small number remaining and available from Landspeed Records in Civic, Stocks Civic, Stocks Belconnen, Stocks Woden and Stocks Tuggeranong. With a large Sydney contingent making the journey and the usual quality Canberra crowd expected at the intimate Lot 33 surroundings, this is one event that will no doubt be talked about for a long time. Not to be missed!

Mon, 08 Nov 2004huge response...I can say Mwah that JZ was amazing technically, but was perhaps a little too deep and dark and musically didn't grab me. The vibe was a sort of perpetuated anticipation, without the release of 'arrival', if you know what I mean.I didn't see Mr Z's appearance the previous year (as i was in London), but all those who went to both said this gig never went through the roof, like he did last time he played in the ACT.Still, a memorable night.

Fri, 28 May 2004Wicked, thanks ants. Yeh your rite, Sydney doesn't have ticket sales,... i spose we've got our own big version of zabiela, i myself hate space, rather see zabiela with a smaller crowd that will appreciate it .will call these stores now
