The DJs United school competition is designed to highlight the skill of mixing records, rather than the DMC type comp, which showcases turntablism and scratching. Focusing on club DJs and smooth mixing skills. The first prize includes: $1,000 cash, a Vestax PCV 270 mixer, Denon DN3000 CD Player, and DMC hire equipment.
DJs will be judged on a 20 minute set of creative beat mixing & programming skills. The grand final will be held on the 7th August. Any DJ wanting to compete must email with expressions of interest to [email protected].
