Time for another radio update and this weekend sees a few interesting shows hitting the internet airwaves.
BBC Radio 1 – Live from Glastonbury
This weekend sees Radio 1 broadcasting live from Glastonbury starting on Friday at 12pm (GMT) and will transmit for most part until the early hours of Monday morning. Tong’s Essential Mix will be broadcast from the Radio 1 Sound System arena starting on Sunday 12am (GMT) through to 4am and will no doubt be an exciting show. Also, make sure to catch Seb Fontaine’s and Annie Nightingale’s respective shows as they’ll also be broadcasting from the festival.
Never disappointing dance music fans, John Digweed’s Kiss100 show will this week host special guest, Wrecked Angle’s Steve Gerrard. A favourite amongst progressive fans the world over, especially after breathing new life into the classic ‘Age of Love’ with his Wrecked Angle remix, Steve is sure to create something extra special for an hour with Digweed adding an hour of his own unique progressive beats. The show begins this Saturday morning at 3.00am (GMT) and is sure to be a talking point on many of the world’s message boards.
Ministry of Sound
This weekend’s featured DJ on Ministry’s Saturday Sessions is the luscious Tom Neville. Having made a stir with his brazen yet cheeky track, ‘Just F*ck’ (soon to be released), he has since solidified his reputation through his diverse remixing work and continued support from the likes of Tom Stephan and Ewan Pearson. Tom will be sure to mix an interesting but quirky house mix with the show beginning at 16.00pm (GMT) on Saturday.
