  • C2 RecordsMark Brown, the man with a knack for signing successful talent, formerly of Credence Records and one half of MYNC Project, has launched new independent house label: C2 Records. Brown, who started Credence in 2000, is responsible for signing releases from some of the world’s top producers - including Dirty Vegas, Part-T-One, Sneak, Alan Braxe, Green Velvet, Skylark (Nic Fanciulli), Lee-Cabrera, Rune RK, Eric Prydz and more. He has signed over 25 top 40 UK singles. Speaking about his new career path he revealed
    “After 4 amazing years at Credence/parlophone I felt it was time for me to go it alone and have my own company Emi have decided to close Credence. C2 will continue where Credence left off and provide only the highest quality in Electronic/Dance music.”
    C2’s first release will come from one of Credence’s success stories of last summer – Lee-Cabrera – who’s “Shake It” entered in the UK Top 40 at 16. ‘Voodoo Love’ will be released on June 21st with remixes coming from Steve Angello, Slylark and Artificial Intelligence. Other artists signed to the label include Danny Howells with ‘Dusk Till Dawn’, DJ Pierre and Eric Prydz and Steve Angelo.
