Sasha to play 4 hour set on Melbourne Cup Eve

cd review of dj sasha - involverTrue to form, Future Entertainment have been working away planning another huge night for Melbourne Cup Eve 2004. This time around they will be presenting none other than DJ Sasha, who was last here to promote his artist album "Airdrawndagger". This trip is all about his latest and much acclaimed Global Underground release, Involver, which has recieved some great reviews world wide.

The Melbourne party will be held on Monday 1 November at the Metro. Sasha will be playing a huge 4 hour set in the mainroom at the Metro with the fine company of top class local DJs Kasey Taylor, Phil K and Luke Chable. The Future Breaks balcony bar will feature Keltec, Jono Fernandez, Progression (aka Sean Quinn), Nick Thayer and Dan Mangan. The third room will be run by the Private Function crew with DJs Dean Millson, Sam Fraser, Ozzie LA, Chris Meehan and Aaron Roach.

Tickets are $45 +BF from Ticketek (ph 13 28 49) and various outlets around town. Hit the FE website for the full list of stores. The night will run from 10pm until 7am. Forget the race on Tuesday, Sasha is coming!

Fri, 03 Sep 2004the only time i went to the Metro was on a thursday night, my friend rang me and told me to come down cause the boys from Crusty Demons were hanging out (yes, i like dirtbikes). anyway looks like i'll be making another appearance ............... and i'll be going to the races the next day too!x
