  • Thank god it’s Friday. And with it comes another weekly Friday Radio Update.
    radio1BBC Radio 1 This weekend’s special guest on Essential Mix will be none other than the very talented Slam. With tech house becoming more and more popular, Scotland’s Slam have been on the cutting edge of this sound for quite a long time. After numerous compilation mixes under their belt, including one for the acclaimed Fabric series, Slam have recently released their much anticipated artist album, ‘Year Zero’. Tune into the show this Sunday at 1am (GMT) as the boys featured some of their own productions. protonProton Radio The weekend kicks off in great style when Balance Record Pool Presents Dustin Fusilier aka D:Fuse. Influenced by the likes of Jerry Bonham, BT, Quivver and FSOL, to name a few, Dustin’s numerous productions have appeared on some of the world’s best compilations such as Global Underground Buenos Aires and most recently Paul Oakenfold’s ‘Creamfields’ release. His DJing talents can be heard this Friday when the show begins at 6pm (EST). Following immediately after will be the return of two of progressive’s favourite DJs/producers, Cass and Paolo Mojo, with their very popular show, Heretic. With the show starting at 8pm (EST), Friday night looks like one to stay in and listen to some seriously good beats. Klubradio Berlin Something for the techno purists. Tune into Klubradio Berlin this Saturday night as they get ready to broadcast a live stream from the world’s most infamous techno club, Tresor, which will feature the pummelling sounds of Recyver Dogs. Set to play both live and incorporate a DJ set, the show kicks of at 23.00 (GMT). TranceAirWaves Wouldn’t be a proper update without including something for the trance fans. Tune into TranceAirWaves on Thursday evening to hear Corderoy’s show of uplifting beats... Having an instant impact with the white label release of their 2003 monster ‘Sweetest Dreams’, the track was remixed by Ferry Corsten and went on to be caned buy every Trance DJ worth his salt. With greater things expected in the future, be sure to catch the show when it kicks off at 6pm (GMT).
