With the arrival of Spring in Melbourne (at last!), the Earthcore crew have cranked the handle on their promo machine to announce a few more acts booked for their massive 3 day Earthcore Carnival party, taking place from 26 to 28 November at Goulburn River, Victoria.
This year marks the 11th anniversary of Earthcore parties and there will be 20 internationals acts with 200 local & interstate artists playing several stages, plus a massive market precinct, monster installations and more in the beautiful Australian bush. The five distinct music stages will cover varying music styles from breaks, drum n bass, trance in all its derivatives, house, electro, ambient, techno, tech and full cross over band/dance arena.
Latest acts to be announced are:
Shapeshifter (NZ) - live drum 'n' bass with rocking live drummer and MC Paora Apera aka P Digsss
MC Reason (Obese Records) - one of the originals, the grand daddy of the Australian hip hop scene
Red Eyes - Fitzroy favourites the Red Eyes are Australia’s only authentic live Dub band
Mr Jigga - Live disco house with a serious dash of 70’s funk, 3 vocalists, percussion and serious driving baselines.
Still Thinking - new comers on the Hip Hop scene with a huge 7 piece live act
Morph - tribal funk fusion, high energy, 6 people, 200 drums, synths, weird instruments and dreads!
Common Knowledge - galactic breaksy funk!

Heckmann (live) aka. Drax (Wavescape, Germany) Lab 4 (live) (Tidy Trax / Nukleuz / Fragile / U.K), Nick Sentience (live) (Quality Trax / U.K), Mekon (Wall of Sound/ U.K), and FreQ Nasty (Sony/N.Z).
The full Earthcore lineup will be released in mid-October, but it is definately shaping up now to offer something for everyone! Other attractions will include a boat race, monster market precinct, food, camping, roving freaks, circus tent with circus thrills and spills, licensed area, fun, sun… and thousands of your mates and you.
