Chew The Fat begins its residency at The End on Friday 17th September 2004. No stranger to the venue, having regularly hosted the lounge in 2002, the headstrong party is now taking over the entire place. Paul Arnold, resident DJ and founder of the club and Fat! label, will be heading it up alongside fellow resident Friendly.
Don’t just expect the breaks highlights from these two, as the Drummatic Twins who recently released ‘Rock Steady’ on Fingerlickin join Tayo on the main room bill for a night of quality sounds arranged by on of the mainstays of the global breaks scene. Speaking about the party and ‘Chew The Fat’ insituion founder Paul Arnold revealed:
"We were one of the original breakbeat nights... I think that Chew The Fat has really helped the breaks scene's DJs mature from the unknown to the well established."Having hosted ‘Chew The Fat’ parties in Hungary, Australia, Russia and even Ibiza they are no stranger to producing a winning broken beat formula and those in London during September should make an effort to check this out.
