Brisbane music fans should head down to the Underground Bar of the Elephant & Wheelbarrow this Saturday 18 September to check out Punch Drunk. These DJs are breaking the shackles from the dance music you'd normally expect to hear and instead throwing lots of punk funk, rock, electro house, nouveau disco, and synth pop at you from a kick arse sound system.
The lineup includes Punch Drunk Jocks Mark Briais(breaking the Family shackles), Electr-Ho (Hey Ho Lets Go!), Jase Frehley (space rocker), D.Black (The Depot/Love & Roxy guru) and Audun (Elsewhere) fresh from his European tour. The very talented Oko-T along for the ride with some tailor made visuals.
You can expect to hear tunes from new Soulwax album (the band from the 2 Many DJ's brothers), A Touch of Class, Kasabian, The Departure, !!!, The Killers, Mylo, Tiga, Tiefschwarz, and heaps of other great stuff with a few classics for good measure. The party kicks off at 9pm and entry is a tiny $7!
