One of the key influences in the earlier periods of trance and other forms of dance music, who has since played in a variety of styles of music pushing a more commercial, chart topping and MTV style angle (which saw him receive as many bitching comments as it did new fans), is back to play a in London.
Paul Oakenfold never fails to bring out a big crowd, he plays to crowd and manages to pack arenas at all the big festivals. It's not really about what he has done over the past decade, but where he is going in the current times. His London club appearances a rarity of late, Turnmills will be bringing in some solid numbers for their first night in October. The clubs long standing Friday night residency, The Gallery, hosts the night on October 1, which will feature some other big names to ensure a great evening.
A South American double will be rocking Room 1, with the #1 Argentinean DJ Hernan Cattaneo joining the equally in form Brazilian techno heavy weight Renato Cohen bringing his fine style. Joining these 3 are Marc G, doing the opening set and Jon O'Bir filling rounding out the Room.
