The breakbeat boys of Gimme a Break return this month on Saturday 2 October to Republika for more breakbeat madness. This months line-up includes Guyno, Little Evil and Shifty-Sly. Expect to hear the newest breaks from around the world played to perfection, with a load of promo’s, white-labels, and as of yet unheard rocking beats. As always, there will also be a few classics thrown in for good measure.
Republika is located upstairs at 132 Smith St Collingwood (next door to Mountain Designs). The breaks start upstairs at midnight, and go until after 7am. Entry is a tiny $5, or FREE before 11pm. Don't forget, Gimme a Break is on the first Saturdayof every month.
