Mr Scruff (UK, Ninja Tune) is coming to town, and what better way to finish the weekend than a lazy sunday summer session with a 5 HOUR SET from the trouser jazz king? Having released three acclaimed albums including “Keep It Unreal”, the Scruffy one has found legendary status as a DJ where his 5-6 hour corker sets are the norm. His new album “Keep it Solid Steel” on Ninja Tune is Part One of a “ mini series ” of three records. Designed to encapsulate the scope of Scruffs long, winding and wibbly-wobbly sets.
When not making music, brewing tea, eating pies, or in your local discotheque, Mr Scruff can be found on his HOT POT radio show. Mr Scruff has been delighting dancehalls the world over with his unique style playing music ranging from bouncy reggae, classic hip hop, deep soul, rare funk, dance floor jazz, heavy beats and leftfield electronic nuggets.
The action is set to take place at Revolver Upstairs on 28 Sunday November. Doors will open from 6pm with Mr Scruff onstage from 8pm. He'll be supported by talented locals Khalil and Gsan.
