With the festive season getting closer and more events being announced, this New Year's Eve is shaping up to be another busy night on the local clubbing calender. Sydney's Tank is proud to present legendary house music DJ and producer, Miguel Migs and vocalist Lisa Shaw in their only Sydney performance.
Migs' career has spanned a good part of ten years where he's established himself not only as a top-tier DJ but also as a well respected producer and remixer. His production work has been released through some of the most prestigious labels in the world such as Naked Music, Yositoshi and NRK while he's remixing skills have been sought by such mainstream artists as Macy Gray, Lionel Ritchie and Britney Spears. New York City vocalist Lisa Shaw has worked with a number of artists and producers, including Migs, and through her career has played and recorded various styles of music, ranging from deep house right through to jumgle/drum&bass.
Supporting the international guests on the night will be local house favourites Antonio Zambarelli, Toby Neal and Ian Spicer. Doors open at the later time of midnight with the party expected to finish at 8am. First release tickets are $95+bf and available from Tank's website. On the night, tickets will also be available on the door between 10pm and 2am. This will be a spectacular way to see 2005!
