Early this month we revealed The Chemical Brothers, one of the electronic worlds most pioneering and well known Live acts have announced they expect their new long player 'Push The Button' to be out on January 24, whilst the first single off the album will come out a week earlier on January 17, 2005. ‘Galvanize’, the first single is a collaboration with Q-Tip, of A Tribe Called Quest’s fame and will mark the duos first release since 2003.

New tour dates, more exciting news on collaborations for the album and a track listing have all flown across our desks and its exciting news. Lead singer of the Charlatan’s lends his vocal cords to the release, whilst Bloc Party’s leading voice Kele Okerke on the electro cut ‘Believe’. A UK spring tour has been announced with 5 dates including two at the Brixton Acadamy in London. Japan will also get a double dose of the group on February 11 & 12 at Tokyo’s AX after they have finish touring Australia. The confirmed dates for the UK tour are:

The Chemical Brothers UK 2005 Tour dates
March 11 – Carling Apollo – Manchester
March 12 - Carling Academy - Glasgow
March 15 – Civic Hall – Wolverhampton
March 18 – Carling Academy – Brixton
March 19 – Carling Academy – Brixton

Those in London can catch the Chemical Brothers on New Years Eve at Turnmills. Full news on that gig here.comment 7 Comments
