After much confusion in dates and distress amongst fans, the contract has been signed on the dotted line and The Youngsters (France, F Communicatons) will jet into Melbourne this weekend to play the The Hardware XMAS BBQ Bash on Sunday 5 December at Honkytonks.
The Youngsters are a French techno duo, formed in 1999 after Olivier Mateu went into Gil Escoffier’s record shop in Montpellier to play him some music he’d made. Together they have now recorded two albums. Their debut ‘LemonOrange’ was very well recieved, and recent follow up album ‘The Army Of 1.0’, continues in the new wave of French techno placing The Youngsters alongside The Hacker, Oxia, and Agoria in style.
In a bonus for fans, The Youngsters will be performing LIVE at Honkys. Hardware invite you along to the Xmas party for some food, booze and a damn wicked time with The Youngsters, their xmas gift to you! Locals supporting on the night include Hardware boss Rich:)e Rich (Final Scratch'n), Mike Callander, Dave Pham, Ben Cromack, Scott Finemore (Final Scratch'n), Agent 86 and Honky's resident Bongmist.
There will be free stuff for people dressed in Christmas spirit! Doors open at 5pm. Entry is free before 8pm and $10 thereafter.
