Following the hugely successful ‘Your Eyes’ by Dogzilla, Maelstrom return with their latest 12” this time from Scandinavia via Germany. Hailing from Tomcraft’s Great Stuff management and label stable you can see straight away where the scandinaivan influence is coming from with Scandy in charge. ‘Rock Me’ slides straight into tough-electro-house buttons with a blazing riff and a tidy hook. Whilst ‘Split’ weirds things up on the A-side before flipping to another electro groove ‘So Do Eye’ on the B-Side.
Maelstrom which started in 2001 continue to find their support from a wide cross section of DJ’s and this Electro number might just find the same varied support. It will be released on January 24 next year.
