Tickets for the annual 33&1/3 Breakbeat BBQ on New Years Day, 1 January 2005 have been selling well. Early-bird tickets are now sold out, so you'll be paying $60+bf if you're keen to attend. Don't snooze though, or you'll be crying over missing this breakbeat and drum'n'bass lineup.

The internationals playing were named in October. To refresh your memory, internationals making the trek to Australia for the party include the Plump DJs,Andy C & GQ, Tayo, BLIM, and Krust & Die. For the first time ever in Melbourne, both of the Plumps will be on rocking it on decks. Tayo is a 33&1/3 old hand and last year nearly knocked the walls off the Espy courtyard with his closing set. He might be small of statue, but he's will manipulate your mind and feet inducing you to dance!

We now reveal the local lineup for 33& 1/3 so you know which of your favourite DJs will also be playing on one of the many stages around the Espy Complex. In additon to the three stages usually run (one Breaks, one D'n'B, one hip hop and various styles) there will be a new area, 33&1/3 Unheard. This area will be dedicated all those talented local dj's that haven't played a 33&1/3 before, including DJs from Beats Working, Skylounge, Prime Mover, and Got Funk? Read below for the local lineup and if you're sufficiently enticed grab a ticket before it's too late.

33&1/3 New Years Day Lineup
Internationals: Plump DJs, Andy C & GQ, Tayo, BLIM and Krust & Die

33&1/3 Local supports over 3 stages: Sunshine, Brewster, Ben Stacey, Alias & Mc Tre, Lynt, Nick Thayer, Blueprint (live), Ransom, Gsan, Paz, Jesse I & Ras Crucial, Ennio Styles, Brett Volker, Lex, Rux, John Doe, Kombat Bass, Fletch, Seven, K-oscillate (live), JPS, and Blanco
