Thu, 06 Jan 2005welcome to life in london thomar. they're big fans of the old stab here too. oh i dunno l_j ... i've lived in london for over a decade and i can count the number of times i've seen genuine trouble on the fingers of 1 hand ... and that's including 5 years of living on the City of London 'fringes' - Whitechapel, Hackney etc., so not really in 'posh' parts of town.

Wed, 05 Jan 2005yea, it was my first time in nyc, i got the feeling that shit was gonna go down while i was there, we stuck close to the security as they were pretty coolish, i heard someone was stabbed upstairs in the hip hop room with a fookin beer bottle, it sure was nice to be in nyc on new years but i dont know if i could live there.......props to ya, stabbings are pretty common there, gawd i can see why, people there are crazy, don't mean to stereotype.....

thomarwrote
Wed, 05 Jan 2005no, but there were a lot of fights and multiple stabbings from what i heard. there was also a stabbing outside Avalon (former Limelight) on the day before. New Yorkers are reeeeeeeeal into stabbing these days .
