James Holden returns to Gotham

Border Community head honcho, James Holden, returns to the New York city this Friday January 21, to play a much anticipated follow-up to his fall performance at Cielo. However, this time round, the highly touted producer is playing a much larger venue, Spirit. The successful promotion team at Made-Event are backing his show again and are allowing James a six hour set in order to properly take his unique sound to the edges and back again!

James’ meteoric rise on the progressive scene stemmed from his track “Horizons,” which caught the attention of all the prog-DJs. Ever since, remix offers have come from every corner of the world, and many producers have attempted to copy his sound. However, his style has never stayed stagnant with his new remixes of Britney Spears, Nathan Fake, Avus, and System 7 sounding tech-influenced and light-years away from “Solstice” and other early works.

His time in the studio has also opened the doors for international DJ bookings. Not only has his skills behind the decks greatly improved, his gigs are an opportunity to hear what is coming next in dance music!comment 19 Comments
