  • Those who like a little trance with their progressive and a unique style, will be glad to hear that producer and DJ James Holden (UK) is returning to Melbourne on Friday 11 February at Room680. James' most recent album was his mix compilation for EQ, Balance 005, which was very well recieved. In 2004, he has been busy doing remixes of System 7's "Planet 7" (A-wave), Nathan Fake's "The sky was Pink' (Border Community) and Andre Kraml's "Safari" (Crosstown Rebels), spreading the future techno / minimal trance / experimental house message across dancefloors of just about every persuasion. Supporting James in Melbourne will be Boogs, Dimitri Frost, Rollin Connection, Jama, Walter Juan, Jay M, Big Kev and Max, and Johnny Zucca. Earlybird tickets can be picked up for $25 +bf online at Earthcore (only 200 available), or for $35 +bf at all the usual outlets. Expect to pay more on the door. Doors open at 11pm on the night.
