The crew at London based FourFour promotions have announced the doors will now be closed. Sighting the adjustments in technology within the scene the released an official statement: Some of the biggest changes our scene has ever experienced – new technologies, new formats and an overall decline in sales – has necessitated that we, along with our labels and artists, change the way we do business. CD & mp3 promotion is definitely the way forward for most, and a newly connected and accessible house community has helped this along even further. We are proud of our small part in that.
Paul Farris will continue to DJ, host his show on Ministry Radio & contributing to M8 Magazine, whilst Joel Chapman has taken up a full-time gig at Uptown Records. Mel Louise is currently working on House Music Awards 2005. RA wishes the FourFour crew the best of luck with all future endeavours.
