As far as collaborations go the Phil K and Habersham combo in the studio was always going to be a good one. Extensive airplay from top jocks like John Digweed, Sasha and with Audio Therapy providing the outlet for the ‘Cloudbrake’ creation to be released this week all is looking good for this dynamic duo. It even comes with a tribal thumping twist on the flip courtesy of Lexicon Avenue. Many of you might have heard the original on Phil’s recent Y4K release.
Phil K has been a legend on the breaks scene for well over a decade now and is well regarded as one of the main pioneers of this sound having produced under numerous guises such as Hi-Fi Bugs , Dark Alley and teaming up with Luke Chable to form Lo-Step who signed to GU Music have recently had huge success and even managed to get Sasha to remix one of their tracks.
Habersham is no stranger to Audio Therapy with 2 releases under his belt so far as well as a whole host of work for his own Blueprint label. Lookout for this one in stores now.
