  • According to their website, godfathers of electronic dance New Order will be playing at both Glastonbury (June 26) and at the V Festival (20/21 August), in addition to headlining at Coachella in California (1 May) and making an appearance playing at the NME Awards on the 17 February. New Order's follow-up album to 2001's long-player "Get Ready" is called "Waiting For The Siren's Call" and is released on London Records on March 28. The video for the first single from the album, "Krafty", was released on February 14, with the single itself hitting the shops in the UK on March 7. "Waiting for the Siren's Call" features co-production with a number of well-known producers, including Stuart Price (aka Jacques Lu Cont aka Thin White Duke aka Paper Faces) which should ensure a certain degree of dance-floor friendliness. One track, "Jetstream", includes not only keyboards from Price but also vocals from Ana Mantronic of the Scissor Sisters. RA has listened to four tracks from the album, "Working Overtime", "Krafty", "I Told You So" and "Jetstream," which were previewed by New Order's Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris on Radio 1's One World radio show earlier this week, and we liked what we heard! This week's One World show can be re-listened to on the BBC's web site. RA suggests you get down the front row at Glastonbury!
