- Nottingham based deep house duo Inland Knights, have mixed a compilation for NRK which will be released alongside a CD comprising some of their best productions and remixes.
Nottingham based deep house duo Inland Knights, have mixed a compilation for NRK which will be released alongside a CD comprising some of their best productions and remixes. The Knights, AKA Laurence Ritchie and Andy Riley, have been synonymous with the deep house scene since the early years when they formed part of the legendary Smokescreen Sound System, throwing infamous free parties across England.
Their Drop Music label has released stacks of quality records over the years, and the fellas have remixed for artists such as Faithless and Random Factor and appeared on a variety of labels such as 2020 Vision, Panhandle, Siesta and Low Pressings. The mix CD will showcase the Inland Knight DJ style, and tracks already confirmed on the mix come from the likes of DJ Sneak, Style Of Eye, Natural Rhythm and Jason Hodges, whilst the Disc 2 sees their remix of Twisted Pair’s ‘Horny Hustle’ and Random Factor’s ‘Without You’ as well as original productions for Drop, Siesta and Doubledown. This will be out on NRK in April.
