  • Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural ‘A State of Trance 2004’, Armin van Buuren returns to the compilation game with the second instalment of his new mix series. This April sees the release of ‘A State of Trance 2005’ and is set to satisfy those that love the sound of trance the way this talented Dutchman portrays the genre. Like its predecessor, ‘A State of Trance 2005’ will be a two CD compilation released through Resist showcasing some of the most upfront tunes available today. Tracks featured on CD1 will lean towards the more progressive side of sound that Armin likes to play while ending on the more euphoric sound he’s known for. Highlights include Marcus Schulz’s ‘First Time’, Max Graham’s ‘I Know You’re Gone’, Armin’s own new production ‘Shivers’ and Kyau vs. Albert’s ‘Falling Anywhere’. CD2 picks up on the euphoric tip and continues onto the more harder edged side of dance music. Featured on this part of the compilation are tracks by the likes of Gabriel & Dresden, the mighty Tilt, M.I.K.E., Oliver Lieb and Remy. Armin van Buuren continues to be one of the most influential and requested Djs across the world. With an army of fans, a string of productions and sets that have become the stuff of legend it is easy to see why Armin-mania has gripped dance fans around the globe.
