A club that has become an institution on the Sydney Clubbing scene is without question the much-loved Plastic. Started by DJs John Ferris and Nervous as a reaction to other clubs playing the same type of music, the club quickly developed a fiercely loyal following amongst the Sydney clubbing scene. Always at the forefront of musical trends, Plastic was the first to introduce the likes of Tiesto, Timo Maas, Lucien Foort, Uberdruck, Kai Tracid and many more to Sydney audiences, many of which have gone on to become internationally known names. Plastic has also created theme events such as Porno Plastic and Evil Acid which have now become legendary.
While other clubs have opened and then quickly disappeared, Plastic has withstood the test of time. On 24th March 2005, Plastic celebrates a massive 7th Birthday. Having changed venues more times than anyone can remember, the club returns to Suzi Q’s (169 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst) for a birthday and Easter spectacular. Featuring a huge line-up including John Ferris, Bexta, Nervous, Marky Murphy, Pete Heery, Obisidian and more, entry will be $10 for members and $15 for non members with doors opening at 10pm. Be there!
