  • London CallingAs RA revealed in January, London Calling, the International Dance & Urban Music Event, will take place June 10 - 11th, 2005. The event is a joint venture between Earls Court, who will host the event, and Oyster Exhibitions. The event will be split into two tiers, an industry-only tier and a tier for the general public who'll be able to enter and browse the area for their favourite labels, distributors, radio stations, hardware manufacturers and other industry-related goods. The event is gaining momentum as Live acts and DJs confirm their availability and a vast array of exhibitors from all walks of the industry sign up to showcase their products and services. On the main floor of Earls Court, visitors will be able to pick up limited edition releases, new material and free goodies. For industry moguls subscribing to the Industry Delegate Pass, an exclusive area will host seminars, panels and interviews with topics focused on a number of key issues currently affecting the industry chaired by Rodol, former CEO of Ministry Of Sound who is now working at Earls Court to inject new entertainment focused shows and exhibitions at the legendary venue. Alongside the daytime activity London Calling 2005 will be supported by a number of affiliated events in London. Tickets to the event are now available at the official website. Industry Delegate Passes £100 + VAT (£150 + VAT after 10th May), whilst the general public can get in for £20 per day.
